Duration: April 25 – June 26, 2010 (Two Month Contract)
Daily updating of Twitter and Facebook, including interaction with followers and fans. Bi-weekly updating of blog, including moderating comments and commenting on related blogs to build following. Blog updates designed to match SEO topics, including keywords and phrases.
Driver in Italy Archived Posts
After initial set-up of Website, Facebook page and Twitter account (set up by Visual Alliance Media), I was tasked with management of the Facebook and Twitter as well as blogging on behalf of the company. I developed the following strategies for each channel:
Blogging – Using targeted keywords (determined by client and Visual Alliance Media), I shaped blog content to utilize these keyword seamlessly within engaging content. I also targeted topics to current events pertaining to either specific events (such as the World Cup and Tour D’Italia) and seasonal applicability. Established relationships with other Travel and Italy related blogger through commenting and mutual blog promotion.
Facebook – Content targeted to build up fan base (initially to set up vanity URL) and cross promote other avenues.
Twitter – Use Keyword searches to find other travel and Italy related Twitter users to follow and interact with. Heavy use of retweets and hashtags targeted towards prospective clients.
In two month contract, I established a solid base for internal management with over 150 Facebook fans and close to 100 Twitter followers.
